A 40-year-old Italian man, Leopoldo Scalici from Palermo who confessed to murdering a Nigerian prostitute identified as Benedita Dan, has been arrested by the Police.
The Italian newspaper reported that Denebita worked as a prostitute in the industrial area of Modena Nord, but her body was found on Sunday morning lying in a small moat by Toni, in the countryside of Albareto.
Scalici had approached the prostitute on the streets while he was travelling and they were believed to have had sex.
Not everything is known about what triggered the aggression, which occurred immediately after the sexual relationship.
It is believed that a sense of dissatisfaction on the part of the client, triggered his reaction.
He said he hit her on the head with a heavy workbench vice, a blow that would have been lethal.
An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted to verify all the claims made so far by Scalici.
