The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says network providers are looking into technical hitches stopping candidates from accessing the recently released Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Naija News recalls that JAMB released results of 1,792,719 candidates who sat for this year’s UTME on Saturday, May 11, exactly twenty-two days after it conducted the examination.

Similarly, the board withheld the results of 34,120  candidates for various infractions. JAMB Registrar, Prof Is-haq Oloyede broke the news to journalists on Saturday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

However, since the results were released on Saturday, some candidates have been having issues checking their results according to some posts monitored on Social Media by Naija News.

Giving an update on the development on Monday morning in a post on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, JAMB said it was working on resolving the issues, noting that normalcy would be restored soon.

“The Board has noticed that candidates are having difficulties assessing their results, especially with some networks.

“The network providers are looking into these technical hitches and have assured that normalcy would be restored soon,” JAMB tweeted.
