1. Buhari does not need WAEC certificate to be Nigeria’s President – Keyamo
The spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo (SAN) has declared that one does not compulsorily need a WAEC certificate to become President of Nigeria.
Keyamo made the assertion on Sunday when he answered a question on the eligibility of President Muhammadu Buhari to contest the presidential election.
2. Only IPOB can restore Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu boasts
The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu says no other person or group can restore Biafra with his group.

3. CCT to give judgement on Onnoghen’s case on Thursday
The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has scheduled judgment for Thursday (April 18) in the trial of the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen on a six-count charge of non-declaration of assets.
Tribunal Chairman, Danladi Umar made this known on Monday after listening to lawyers to the prosecution and defence adopted their final written addresses.
4. Court discharges and acquits alleged killers of Ozubulu worshippers
A High court sitting in Awka has discharged and acquitted two remaining suspects standing trial for alleged involvement in the killing of worshipers in a church in Ozubulu, Anambra state.
In a ruling that lasted for over three hours, Justice Fidelis Aniukwu ruled that the prosecution counsel was unable to prove beyond reasonable doubt the allegations leveled against the defendants, Chinedu Akpunonu and Onyebuchi Mbanefo.
5. INEC server: Atiku concorted figures – APC
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of manufacturing results purportedly gotten from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) server.
Atiku contested the 2019 presidential election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who won the election.
6. EFCC vs Fayose: Court adjourns trial of Ekiti State ex-Governor till May
A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday heard how the N1.2billion allegedly given to former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose from the Office of National Security Adviser (ONSA) was moved to the state.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is trying Fayose for allegedly receiving and keeping N1.2billion and $5million allegedly stolen from the ONSA.
7. Why APC is challenging Atiku’s nationality at tribunal – Keyamo
The Spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council, Festus Keyamo, has revealed why the APC filed a motion challenging the nationality of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar.
The ruling APC had filed a motion at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal faulting the candidacy of Atiku in the election, claiming that Atiku is a Cameroonian and not a Nigerian citizen.

The Zamfara State Council of Chiefs has maintained that the Nigerian Air Force strikes on bandits killed innocent civilians in some villages in the state.
The Emir of Bungudu and spokesman for the traditional rulers, Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, in a telephone interview on Sunday, insisted NAF came up with hypothetical names of neutralized bandits.
9. APC set to release zoning arrangement for 9th National Assembly
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that it is working on a zoning arrangement for the leadership of the ninth National Assembly.
This was made known by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lanre Issa-Onilu, to newsmen on Sunday night.
10. Again, Court orders Jay Jay Okocha’s arrest
A Lagos High Court in Igbosere has renewed a bench warrant for the arrest of former Super Eagles captain, Augustine Jay-Jay Okocha for alleged tax evasion.
Justice Adedayo Akintoye approved the warrant following Okocha’s alleged failure to settle a 2017 income tax evasion case brought against him by the Lagos State Government.
